Allen Canal as it leaves Spring Canyon.

The Allen Canal is presently believed to start in Frye Creek, gets watershed crossed to Spring Canyon, and is then dumped back into a natural channel. Here the built up portions resume.

There is a short downcanyon routing, that is followed by a sudden northerly turn heading for Hawk Hollow Tank, which is really located in Central Wash. There is a fairly strong "water flows uphill" illusion here and some CCC rework.

Nearest 4WD track: N 32.78231 W 109.83470 Hawk Hollow tank is separately accessed via a very rough 4WD track at N 32.78538 W 109.83255.
