I've gathered together most of our surplus and auction resources

A key secret to eBay seller success is to have an acceptably high
sell-buy ratio. I strongly recommend seeking out a sell-buy ratio of
at least 30:1 or higher. Product sources shown below that work for
me include privitized mil surplus, community college auctions, dot
bomb blowups, inventory overstocks, and industrial bankruptcies.
eBay sources that not only do not work but are an outright joke
include "buying wholesale", drop shipping, and distress pallets.
Per this tutorial and these guidelines.
Most library files require an Adobe Acrobat plug in for online
viewing. Offline, these may be accessed by an Acrobat Reader or
an eBook Reader or any other .PDF accepting program.

Froogle ultimately should provide serious eBay competition
because it has a much better model: No listing fees, no value
fees, true reverse Dutch auction ( prices drop till items sell ),
and each bid is an instant and certain winner.
You can apparently start up your own direct eBay competition
